Charis Equestrian is located in Temecula, California. Jessie "Jess" Hargrave, owner and founder, is originally from North Carolina.
Jess has a strong foundation in the art of teaching, and extensive experience in equestrian riding and education. Her lifelong passion for riding, coupled with degrees in learning theory, allow her to teach and instruct a broad range of students & horses in a variety of different settings.

PHYSICAL BENEFITS ~
Riders develop coordination, balance, fine motor skills, core strength and endurance, joint mobility and flexibility while improving their posture and cardiovascular health.

Horsback riding isn't just a fun recreational sport. It also helps improve self-esteem, confidence, self-control & discipline. Riders develop a sense of responsibility, empathy and compassion - important life skills.

Charis Equestrian: Rates
Full training/board $1550
1/2 training/board $1250
(Includes hay, shavings, turnout & care. Supplements and grain are the responsibility of owner)
$75 per diem (1-hr lesson)
$100 (75 min sibling lesson)
$25 haul in fee (waived if in a minimum monthly lesson package)
Hauling $2 per mile if over 15 miles
$25 flat fee if less than 15 miles
$275 once weekly
$500 2x weekly
$750 3x weekly
1/2 lease $500 (3 days a week)
Full lease $750 ( 6 days a week)
*guarantees you the same horse for lessons/schoolings
**must be in a minimum monthly lesson package
Day fee for horse:
$100 full day
$50 1/2 day
1 day - $75
2 day - $150
3 day - $200
We offer two unique tracks in our lesson program: The Education Track and The Show Track.
The EDUCATION TRACK is geared toward any student that wants to learn to ride leisurely while learning horse management. Students on this track will be trained by the Assistant Trainer.
The SHOW TRACK is geared toward any student that wants to train to ride competitively. Students will be required to actively compete and participate in a minimum number of shows throughout the year. Students on this track will be trained by Jess Hargrave.
